Feasible to combine iMac G5 Power PC with Intel Mac Mini?

I have an iMac G5 Power PC that's running a bit slow lately. I've upgraded the RAM to the full 2GB allotment. I installed a new hard drive last year. And, I run the disk permissions utility regularly. But, it's just not fast enough for the photo/graphic editing software I need to use. Being that it's such a great display otherwise, I wonder if it's possible to use the iMac as a display in conjunction with a new Mac Mini with the Intel processor. Thoughts?
