My dog's nose has dried and is sloughing off-no pain,drainage. Could she have skin cancer?

A dried piece of her nose is just dangling there and she seems not to realize. Does not lick or paw at it. She is 15 but still seems to feel good even tho she is near blind and deaf. Advise, as I do not want her to suffer. Thank you
