My best friend of a year has just told me she doen't want to be around me anymore.?

I have been loyal, honest, compionate, caring, ALWAYS there for her through thick and thin. And she has suddenly stopped calling, and just sent me an email today telling me she does not want to be around me any more. At this point I do not really care to be around her now either, I am just so hurt and angry. And the really sucky part of the whole thing is that she was really my only friend. I am a 26 year old working stiff, so it is hard for me to meet new people. Any advice?
