Is Ryan Dunn realy dead or did he fake his death ?

so, im pretty sure everyones heard that ryan dunn died in a crash crash but some people are telling me that he faked it for a jack episode. theyre saying ryan dunns mother confirmed his death but some people are saying she told people that he faked it and he is alive . anyone know if hes alive or not ?
