FASHION Dreams in NYC!?

Well ok im pretty much a fashion addict. All i ever think about is designers and editorials(sp). My dream is to move to new york in three years when im 17. Ugh, Im just so obsessed with the "New York" lifestyle! But im stuck in California!My family thinks it's a stupid idea but damn it, it's my dream. Any advice? (but something more than follow your dreams, i need more) lol!
