Our High School always donate to a charity....fundraising ideas??????

The charity that we are using is called Dreams Come True. What happens is we sponsor a child who has a life-threatening disease, such as AIDS, cystic fibrosis, leukemia, etc. What happens is the child has a wish, which can include things like spending a day at Disney World with their family. What we do is fundraise money and donate it to the organization, and sponsor the child's "dream" or wish. I am the Chairperson of the Committee and I was curious to see if anyone has any simple, successful fundraising ideas. Our goal is $2008 for the year 2008 when we will be starting.
