Removal of NAIL POLISH from APOLSTRY, how??? HELP!!!?

My sister left a bottle of RED nail polish in my Dad's NEW truck. I guess it wasn't closed to tightly because he got a nice surprise when he opened his door! He did have it recently scotch gaurded if that makes a difference. We thought if we let it dry that it would come off easier. It didn't! Any suggestons? THANKS
