What the best way to develop a thesis for expository type paper?

I need to develop a thesis for a paper that asks youi to reflect on how my role as a student and a reader is guided and how my interactions and collaborations with other students is constructed. Some my brainstorning ideas are as follows: My role as a student and reader is guided by professors instructions, use of a textbook, and use of the course's syllabus. Then, my inteactions and collaboration with other students is constructed by means of expression of ideas and opinons about coursework, thru formation of groups within cl, and study groups outside of cl. These are ALL just brainstorming ideas. My problems is developing a outline and thesis from these ideas. Can anyone help me out just to get started?
