Winter activity suggestions?

So up until a few weeks ago, it's been pretty decent weather up here in the north east. But recently it's been very cold, windy, icy and snowy. My dog is going nuts. He is a 9 month old Catahoula/Lab mix. Hikes 2-3 times a week and daily walks aren't cutting it anymore. He's kinda got some cabin fever going on. In the spring, summer and fall it's better, because, well, -10 degree weather doesn't exist. Does anyone have any suggestions for other winter activities? I feel like we will all be on the same page, but suggestions can't hurt, right? Thank you.
