Brakes on my 93 silvarado are acting like prop valve went bad only RT rear works.?

Symptoms started with a RT front caliper intermittently hung up a couple times, then got more persistent. Changed it, got a bunch of air (and sore some moisture likely due to cold rainy weather) in the system, (my teens did that) bled it like 20 times, could not get the mushy brake like no pedal fluid pressure) feedback to go away and its been same since. Changed the master cyl, to affect, then the booster, the FRT RT flex line, LH FRT caliper, no change. Bled the bleeder on the prop valve and the 2 wheel anti lock system several times. The fluid ports to the reservoir like the proportioning valve is byping the front brakes completely and the LH rear. Only the rear RH will work and only completely to the floor with the pedal. The last time I had any problems with a proportioning valve was on a '74 Nova many moons ago. Way to long to remember and much simpler system. Can I take this apart and fix it? They are expensive and I can not shotgun this any longer. I saw a answer that stated I could. I am a technician with lots of tools. Just right now have a wife recovering from surgery and am under a lot of pressure. A girl talking on a cell totaled our van and this is our only backup vehicle big enough for the 6 of us.

Accidentally put car in neutral...can this cause damage?

So yesterday, I meant to put my car in "drive" and without looking or paying attention, I accidentally put it in "neutral" and stepped on the accelerator instead. The car made a weird noise and didn't really move. Can this damage my car somehow? No indicator lights have come on and my car is running fine. I am just a little nervous. Why did putting an intake in my car screw the whole thing up?

i have a 2000 pontiac sunfire and i got rid of the entire stock intake and put in a tube from the throttle to a cone filter. i put the sensor in and put the hose on to the spout on the valve cover, like how it was with the stock intake, and im pretty sure everything is completely sealed. now it shifts hard, jumps, traction control is off, and something squeaks when it shifts. i need to fix it by tomorrow and preferably without putting the stock intake back in. its an automatic.

Try teen spirit by Nirvana, almost all Weezer songs are easy, just pick a song you like, and practice that, but don't forget to learn theory as you go to be able to solo over, and compose your own songs. Then after you do that, ask one of the petsmart workers for the new puppy list. good luck, have fun. i was in your shoes a couple weeks ago. Best of all, be prepared to lose lots of sleep as when you are crate training your pet, you will be woken up by her crying during the night cause she needs to go pee every couple hours.

Blades or Cavity Backs?

I am a recreational golfer with a borderline 18 handicap (i.e. I can play to 18, but that would be my best game). I love to play with blades and feel that that is the way the game was always meant to be played. I also think that many cavity backs look ugly. I get fed up with sneering comments from people that I'm playing way out of my depth. But cavity backs only really came in around the early 80s. Before that, through the 50s, 60s, 70s etc, what did beginners start with. Should I concede and (allegedly) make the game easier for myself or should I maintain my purist stance. I'd certainly suggest cooking the apples a bit (don't chop (they'll disintegrate), just slice maybe about 1/4-1/2" thick), if you just add them into the baking pan with the blueberries you'll either have half-cooked apples or decimated blueberries. Just par-cook the apples (til starting to soften) then add them and frozen blueberries with a bit of flour (for thickening- about 1 tbs) into your baking pan,top with crumble and bake.

Destination wedding selfish?

I see people saying that on here and I don't get it. Why is it selfish? My family lives all over the country, so many people would have to travel to come to a wedding regardless of where it is. We are having our wedding in St Thomas and paying the airfare and hotel for our immediate families (12 people) and hosting a dinner the night before and a reception afterwards for everyone coming. So i've been mountain biking for quite a while now, and I need some advice on my new bike. I've figured out what I want in a bike, and i've broken it down to two choices; the Specialized Epic and the Yeti 575. I like them both a lot, and cant seem to reach a decision. I've been to my local bike shop and checked out the epic and it was nice. Nice ride, brakes, shocks, forks, etc. I really liked the brain feature of the rear shock, where it adjusts based on terrain, but does anyone know how well this works on multiple terrains? I've only tried it in a parking lot and went over some planters. Also, I haven't been able to find a Yeti anywhere, but based on components and such, its a pretty solid sounding bike, and I much prefer its styling and coloring. So if anyone else has compared these two bikes, what conclusion did you come to? and for anyone who has one or the other, why do you think I should get the same choice as you, or the other one if you feel you made a bad choice?

Winter activity suggestions?

So up until a few weeks ago, it's been pretty decent weather up here in the north east. But recently it's been very cold, windy, icy and snowy. My dog is going nuts. He is a 9 month old Catahoula/Lab mix. Hikes 2-3 times a week and daily walks aren't cutting it anymore. He's kinda got some cabin fever going on. Hi! I read on SE's website that the K800i has the support for WMV and WMA. There's no problem with WMA, but this unit won't play WMV. I got those sample WMV from www.flightlevel350.com or gallery.mobile9.com. Both videos is played OK from start till end on my PC. Then I transfer it using Bluetooth. GPS Dog Collar That Can Be Accessed From A Computer?

Does anyone know of a GPS dog tracking collar that can be accessed from a computer? I have looked at several on the internet, but all of them require a handheld unit, which would be ok, except for the fact that they are limited to line-of-sight transmission. They can only broadcast for, at most, 7 miles. I want to be able to log into my computer and see where my dog is at all times. If he runs out of the transmission range of the handheld unit, then its useless. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

First job meltdown/jitters

How many people have been so smitten with someone that they ignore what their friends tell them and refuse to see the faults in that person? It took me until last night to realise that the girl who professed to really like me has been very economical with the truth yet I still can't be angry with her. I took 3 out of those four in one semester, and a course on advanced statistics plus an upper level English course. Yes, it's a lot of work, but I found being immersed in math cles made the load seem easier to handle. It really depends on how much work you're willing to put into these cles. Generally, I'm used to having 3 hours of homework a night, so I didn't have an issue with my course load. I also had breaks between my cles so I could do homework right after cl. Plus, I have friends in the math department so doing homework was a nerdy social event.

Got a mini lop buck a couple of days ago. He was just two days off from being 8 weeks (got him on fridAy he was exactly 8 weeks on the Sunday) please don't say it was irresponsible of me because the guy that had him and his mum said he needed him out asap and that's ad the lo vest I could push it. He's been fine eating fine (same pallets he was weaned on) drinking fine, very energetic. Not long ago I think her may of had diarhea because his bum is dirty and smelly but thing is I'm not sure if it's diarhea or if it's because his water dish got pushed to a corner and when i saw it there wAs lots of mushy poo in it. Could maybe not be diarhea and he just sat in the water when he pooped causing it to get sticky and stick on him? I took him for a run and he is still energetic and happy. If after ive washed him and his symptoms persist I will tak him to the vet.

Is my Guinea Pig sick?

My guinea pig has been seeming a little under the weather. He appears to be eating normally (and drinking, but maybe not as much?) and will still get excited and affectionate and everything like usual...but I'm concerned about him because he's been wheezing quite a bit accompanied with coughing or sneezing. He's also sometimes very warm to the touch, but I'm not sure if it's because he's been huddled up in his bed with his stuffed animal keeping warm on purpose or not. It's been on and off for a little over two weeks, and some days he'll do it and some days he wont. There is no crust around his eyes or nose, and he seems otherwise healthy. I've been keeping his cage as clean as possible and he's been getting fresh food, hay, fruits, and veggies daily as per usual. Money is kind of tight, so I didn't want to pay for a vet visit if I can help it...but does this seem like something that I need to take him in for? Is there anything I can do to help him "get well" without taking him in? Or is it allergies, maybe? (All of the humans around me have been suffering from allergies really badly lately...I was thinking maybe my piggie is having the same problem?) Does anyone know? He's been misbehaving a bit lately and I was wondering also if maybe he's trying to indicate to me that he's not feeling well and wants me to help? I don't know...

I totally understand your feelings in this. I am the same way. I'm always nice (sugar-coating I guess) and encouraging while my boyfriend tells it how it is. I think it really may just be a guy thing. While they are thinking they are doing a good thing by being honest and not fake, I think females tend to think it's better to compliment while suggesting improvements. I think it should require some give from both ends. I think do think he should have thanked you, and maybe not said it was great, but at least said it was pretty good while suggesting that maybe it would be a little improved with more garlic. I think that if he saw that this offended you this time, that the next time you cooked he should have acted more appreciative. That being said, I also think, however, that a lot of women can be too sensitive. I know I am. I don't think he was trying to offend you, but I think you both just have different values in this case. Friend is Blind in One Eye?

I have a friend who is blind in her right eye. If I took a picture of her, if there is 'red eye', the eye which she is blind in is always a different color. If I showed you a picture you could guess which eye she is blind in because it would be glowing bright yellow rather than red like her other eye and like everyone else's. My question is, what is the physiological reason behind this? I am sorry I do not have more information about what caused the blindness. I think it was a tumor that she was born with behind her eye, and when it was removed it caused blindness.

I took part in a WWI reenactment yesterday and well things got a little bit too realistic. Now I have some blood on my German reenactment uniform. Don't feel too bad for me about this. First of all, it wasn't my blood, and believe me, I was one of the lucky ones! I'd put up a picture of it, but it's pretty bad and people would probably think I'm a troll and will have this question deleted. Blanketing?

I have started blanketing my ponies and horses. It is getting down to the early 40's and upper 30's at night. I have an arabian pony that has never grown a heavy coat and I have owned her for nine years. Another TB mare that we own has been through more than 5 surgeries and nearly a year later is just gaining most of her weight back. Yet another one of my ponies is clipped. I have been blanketing them and leaving sheets on during the day when its supposed to be below 65. My mother and I have gotten into a rather big argument about me to quick to blanket, is she right in her reasoning? I am doubting myself now. Is it ok that I am putting medium weight blankets on at night and leaving sheets on chillier days?

Its difficult to eat right when you're pressed for time, it's difficult to exercise when you're physically drained and sleep deprived. You will drop some weight while feeding, but a doctor will tell you, not to "diet" while feeding. You need to eat foods that won't irritate your baby, as well as foods high in iron and protein. It easy to say you're going to be gung ho to diet now. But once you have your baby to take care of, it will be the least of your concerns, try something a little more realistic like 2 years to get to 120 and a year to get to 150.

I think that in the heat of the moment the judges failed to realise that the 'mood' of the dance was intentional. Matt is still a very strong contender. Super dry skin on face. What to do with it?

Hi! I'm 18 years old and have had skin problems since I was about 12. I had crazy skin breakouts when I was still in highschool and luckily, I don't breakout a lot now that I'm in college. My main problem now is that my skin is really really dry after a bath or washing. It looks really bad especially my forehead and chin. What could I possibly do to make thi better? My son and I were at a strip mall buying some car parts on a Friday night. 4 skater teens started to mouth of an elder custodian emptying garbage can. The whole incident lasted about 5 minutes and mall security was there immediately to stopped the fight...Then the sherriff was involved...It was a mess.... I want to reprimand my son for being a hot head but in the meantime he stood up for the weaker. To be honest at that point, I can't help but to delay my invlovement, I wanted to see if he can really take down 4 aillents. Hard choice.

I have heard that they put the end of the nerves back together sometimes in hope that they will just reattach. Depends upon if it is done within a very short period after detachment and with diabetes, it is more of a hit and miss chance. All that seems to be possible is to move the nerve ends back together and hope for reattachment. They can't do more than that here as it is just too dangerous an area to be fooling around.

Feeding advice for a 2 year old with cleft lip and palate?

My youngest son was born with cleft lip and palate and has had a feeding tube since he was 3 months old due to failure to thrive and just not being able to eat enough. He has had 4 operation now, 2 of them were repair operations for his lip and palate and the other 2 were for his g-tube. About 3 months after the last surgery (december 2009) we were able to wean him off of the tube feeding as he started to eat enough by mouth (YAY!) But for about the last 4 or 5 months he is back to not wanting to eat much during the day. We are trying not to go back to tube feeds unless we absolutely have to. We have gone back to basics, mac and cheese and mashed tater, and he just munches a few times during the day but will also not drink the formula and pediasure from his cup. I have asked his doctors about this and the OT and all of the others on his medical team but they just say go back to tube feeds. Tube feeds all the time don't teach him how to eat though. I hope someone understands where i am coming from on this !! If anyone who has gone through this or something kind of the same any suggestions would be SSSSOOOOO great. If you need anymore details of have questions, feel free to ask. Thanks in advance :)

The charity that we are using is called Dreams Come True. What happens is we sponsor a child who has a life-threatening disease, such as AIDS, cystic fibrosis, leukemia, etc. What happens is the child has a wish, which can include things like spending a day at Disney World with their family. What we do is fundraise money and donate it to the organization, and sponsor the child's "dream" or wish. I am the Chairperson of the Committee and I was curious to see if anyone has any simple, successful fundraising ideas. Our goal is $2008 for the year 2008 when we will be starting.
